“Music in the Core” Tonight Features Street Musicians, RSO Ensemble

This family-friendly event features two street performances by local singer-songwriters and a performance on the Main Street Lawn by the Richardson Symphony Orchestra (RSO) via the group’s new concert trailer. Concertgoers are encouraged to picnic with food-to-go from downtown restaurants or from one of the Richardson-based food trucks that will be present.

Richardson Community Chorale Concert Tonight

The Richardson Community Chorale, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supported in part by a grant from the City of Richardson Cultural Arts Commission, will present its spring concert, “Peace and Love,” the group’s first live concert in more than two years.

Celebrate Arbor Day Year-Round with City’s Tree Planting Program

Since today (April 29) is National Arbor Day for 2022, the City is reminding residents that a great way to celebrate is to get involved with the Parks and Recreation Department’s tree planting program, in which participants purchase a tree or trees and have them planted on City-maintained land.
