Awards for last weekend’s “A Storybook Christmas” parade were presented before the opening of Santa’s Village. The top three specialty awards announced were:
- Mayor’s Award— Tumbleweeds 4-H Club
- Grand Marshal’s Award— Brohawk’s YMCA Adventure Guides
- Chairman’s Elf Award—Huffhines Dance Team

Last weekend’s parade included 56 entries and approximately 1,500 participants who contributed more than 600 toys and $1,700 to Network of Community Ministries to assist families in the community over the holidays. Parade sponsorships raised an additional $3,150 for Network.
