The Richardson Police Department Citizen Police Academy (CPA) is taking applications for the upcoming 2023 class. The annual CPA is a free, 16-week program that gives participants an opportunity to learn about the Department while getting to know the men and woman that serve Richardson. Students will participate in SWAT scenarios, experience the police driving course, meet the K9s and more.
The 2023 class begins Feb. 7 and meets weekly on Tuesday evenings. Application deadline is Dec. 12. Applicants must live or work in Richardson.
