Save the Date: Spring Creek Nature Area Guided Walk is April 15

Enjoy a relaxing morning walk along the paths through the woods of the Spring Creek Nature Area, which has a special significance in Richardson’s 150-year history.

Lane Closure Expected Near Arapaho/Mimosa Intersection

The right lane of westbound Arapaho Road between Glen Cove Drive and Mimosa Drive may be closed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. due to utility work taking place on the northwest corner of the Arapaho/Mimosa intersection. The work is expected to be complete by mid-June.

Sidewalk Work to Close Lane Sections on West Belt Line Road through Late April

In five phases, the right lane of westbound Belt Line Road may be closed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at various locations between US 75 and Coit Road as sidewalk replacement takes place. The work is expected to wrap up by late April.

Time to Start Collecting Items for City’s Upcoming Trash Bash

The City’s annual Trash Bash takes place in two weeks on Saturday, April 15 and will continue the tradition of collecting several used, household items, to keep reusable items out of our landfills and waterways and help residents with “spring cleaning.”

Free Blue Recycling Bags at Several Locations in April

Letters were mailed to Richardson residents earlier this month good for two free rolls of 26 blue recycling bags, and the letters may be redeemed at Heights Recreation Center, Huffhines Recreation Center, the Senior Center and the Service Center during regular business hours.
