At this fun, interactive event, community leaders and professional actors perform a mystery comedy play while attendees work in teams to solve the “crime.”

Adults ages 18 and up are invited to visit the final resting place of many of the earliest settlers in the Richardson and Plano areas, including the Routh and Campbell families, and hear the stories of these early pioneers

Eight Richardson residents have been appointed by the City Council to fill recent vacancies on several City boards and commissions—the appointees were voted on at Monday’s City Council meeting, with five present and sworn in by City Secretary Aimee Nemer.

Altrusa International of Richardson is pairing up with the Richardson Animal Shelter and the Richardson Humane Society for a special pet adoption event. Pet-related vendors will also be on site and a drawing will be held for dog and cat gift baskets.

A juried show/exhibition from members of the Richardson Civic Art Society. Every piece of art is themed around Richardson, entered in one of three categories: The Spirit of Nostalgia (Richardson history), The Spirit of Community Service (citizens doing good), and the Spirit of Excellence (what to see in Richardson). 

Registration opens Monday, April 3 at 8 a.m. for Richardson Parks and Recreation’s summer day camps and swim classes. The camps offer a variety of activities for ages 5-15, including indoor and outdoor games, arts and crafts, and more. Swim offerings include Parent and Child Aquatics, numerous age-grouped swim skills classes and neighborhood swim teams.
