Though thunderstorms and tornadoes can happen in Texas any time of year, Texans are more likely to experience these types of severe weather events in the spring and early summer—which means that in Richardson, you’re also more likely to get severe weather alerts.

Property valuation notices for 2023 will be mailed this month. All city, county and school taxes are based, in part, on property valuations determined by the central appraisal district (CAD) office.

The City is hosting four City Hall Bond Election Open House events in April, with two taking place this weekend.

City Secretary Aimee Nemer gave an update at Monday’s City Council meeting regarding locations for early and Election Day voting for the upcoming May 6 election.
