Crews have been readying Cottonwood Park this week as the City prepares to host its biannual Cottonwood Art Festival there this Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7-8. Numerous booths will display the work of artists from across the nation, two stages will feature live music throughout each day and more than 15 food and beverage vendors will be on site. ArtStop, a colorful, interactive children’s area, will offer activities starting at $2 per activity per child. New this year is “Chalk the Walk;” see next story for more information.

Cottonwood Park is located at 1321 W. Belt Line Rd.

Admission is free. 

Parking
Free parking is available across from the festival grounds at the Richardson High School football stadium (1250 W. Belt Line Rd.). Shuttles are available throughout the weekend to and from the parking area.
