Parks Department Celebrates 60 Years Dec. 29

The City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department turns 60 Dec. 29, and several activities are planned in celebration.

Application Deadline for Local Bands to Perform at Wildflower! is Dec. 31

Wildflower! Arts & Musical Festival staff are currently accepting entries from local and regional bands interested in performing at the 2020 Festival, which takes place May 15-17.

Lanes at Collins Boulevard and International Parkway to be Narrowed

The northbound and southbound lanes at Collins Boulevard and International Parkway may be narrowed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Annual ‘Tree Cycling’ scheduled Dec. 26-Feb. 1, 2020

The City’s Public Services Department will hold its annual “Tree Cycling” program beginning next week Thursday to mulch and recycle Christmas trees discarded after the holiday.
