Read MoreThis year marks the 50th anniversary of Sherrill Park Golf Course. The City-owned course opened Aug. 27, 1973 and has been a favorite of North Texas golfers ever since. More than 91,000 rounds of golf were played at Sherrill Park last year, to go along with 3,200 lessons to ensure the game of golf continues to grow in Richardson.
