Work continues on a vacant east Richardson office building that will serve as the temporary City Hall, with City Council meetings scheduled to take place at the facility beginning Aug. 21. The facility is located at 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd. at the southwest corner of Plano Road and Greenville Avenue.

Community Feedback Guides City Hall Design / Comp Plan

With one briefing out of the way and another coming up later this month, the City Council will soon be fully updated on the results of initial community input provided to guide the future design of a new City Hall and the update to Richardson’s Comprehensive Plan. The City Council heard a briefing on the Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update on July 31, with a briefing on the new City Hall set for Aug. 21.

Sherrill Park Golf Course Celebrates 50th Anniversary

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Sherrill Park Golf Course. The City-owned course opened Aug. 27, 1973 and has been a favorite of North Texas golfers ever since. More than 91,000 rounds of golf were played at Sherrill Park last year, to go along with 3,200 lessons to ensure the game of golf continues to grow in Richardson.
