Overnight construction begins tonight as crews install the south-side arch on the DART Silver Line bridge over US 75, just south of the President George Bush Turnpike.
The arch pieces currently staged near the bridge will be lifted into place during overnight work scheduled from Thursday, June 4, through early Monday, June 8. The work will require closures of US 75 main lanes, frontage roads, ramps, and Renner Road at different times.

Thursday, June 4 | 9 p.m.-4 a.m.
- Full closure of northbound and southbound US 75 frontage roads
- Temporary rolling closure of Renner Road at US 75
Friday, June 5 | 9 p.m.-6 a.m.
- Full closure of northbound and southbound US 75 main lanes
- Full closure of eastbound and westbound President George Bush Turnpike ramps to southbound US 75
- Partial closure of the southbound frontage road
Saturday, June 6 | 9 p.m.-8 a.m.
- Full closure of northbound US 75 main lanes
- Full closure of northbound US 75 to the President George Bush Turnpike ramp
- Partial closure of the northbound frontage road
Sunday, June 7 | 8 p.m.-5 a.m.
- Full closure of northbound and southbound US 75 frontage roads
- Closure of southbound US 75 Exit 27 to Renner Road
- Temporary rolling closure of Renner Road at US 75
Silver Line rail service will also be suspended overnight between Shiloh Road Station and UTD Station during portions of the work, with bus service provided between Shiloh Road, 12th Street, CityLine/Bush and UTD stations.
Drivers should plan ahead, expect delays, follow posted detours and use alternate routes when possible.

Drivers will turn right on Plano Parkway, left on Alma Road, and left on Renner Road. Drivers will then turn right onto the southbound US 75 frontage road and continue south. Northbound US 75 Frontage Road Closure Northbound US 75 frontage road traffic will be directed to take Exit 27A for Galatyn Parkway/Renner Road and continue north on the frontage road to Renner Road. Drivers will turn right on Renner Road, left on Plano Road, and left on the westbound President George Bush Turnpike frontage road. Drivers will then turn right onto the northbound US 75 frontage road and continue north to Plano Parkway. |
| Night 2 – Friday, June 5 9 p.m.-6 a.m. Southbound US 75 Full Closure Southbound US 75 traffic will be directed to take the Renner Road exit, follow the frontage road through the closure area, and re-enter US 75 where available. Northbound US 75 Traffic Northbound US 75 traffic will be directed to take Exit 27A for Galatyn Parkway/Renner Road, follow the frontage road through the closure area, and re-enter US 75 where available. Eastbound President George Bush Turnpike to Southbound US 75 Drivers traveling eastbound on President George Bush Turnpike should take the Alma Road exit, travel south on Alma Road, turn east on Renner Road, and access southbound US 75 from Renner Road. Westbound President George Bush Turnpike to Southbound US 75 Drivers traveling westbound on President George Bush Turnpike should take the Plano Road exit, turn left on Plano Road, travel west on Renner Road, and access southbound US 75 from Renner Road. |
