Mega Math Meetup

Math = Fun! Kids explore math concepts in creative ways this summer using tools like LEGO and Magna-Tiles during Mega-Math Meetup, a come-and-go program for children ages 6-8 at the Richardson Public Library.

Mega-Math Meetup provides opportunities to put math into action. Can Hot Wheels help us measure and graph, and Plinko show place value and set up equations? It’s a hands-on hour of math discovery to find these answers and many more in a fun, flexible, friendly environment – no worksheets included!

The program is part of the free “Unearth a Story” Summer Reading Club campaign for kids and teens, offering ways to stay active and be productively curious while school is out. Mega-Math Meetup will be held Wednesdays from June 3-24 and July 8-22 from 3-4 p.m. in the Storytime Room at the Library. Free tickets are required and will be available at the Teen Help Desk starting at 2:45 p.m. the day of each program.

Mega-Math Meetup is sponsored by the Friends of the Richardson Library.
