Artwork created by several talented high school students from around the Richardson community is now on display as part of the Young People’s Art Exhibit at the Richardson Public Library (3rd floor) Feb. 23 – Mar. 11.

The annual Exhibit is presented by the Richardson Civic Art Society (RCAS) and the Library. This year, the show features more than 280 pieces including paintings, drawings, collage and photography.

“It’s amazing, the artwork that these kids do,” said Ted Houston, chair of the Young People’s Art Exhibit and member of RCAS.

The artwork is being judged by members of RCAS who will present winning entries prizes on Tuesday, Mar. 10 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. in the basement program room.

The Exhibit is sponsored in part by the City of Richardson and the Richardson Cultural Arts Commission.
