Requests for Brush And Bulky Item Collection (BABIC) service may be delayed in several Richardson neighborhoods due to a large number of pickup requests generated from a June 9 severe weather event. The storm caused a significant amount of debris, specifically in the southwest part of town, and crews are working overtime and on weekends to get caught up on requests for service.

All those who are waiting for BABIC service are asked to please continue to leave material scheduled for removal at their normal collection point and crews will pick it up as soon as possible.

The City is providing regular updates on BABIC service and the related storm debris removal on its Nextdoor, Facebook (www.facebook.com/RichardsonToday/) and Twitter (@RichardsonToday) social media channels as well as on the City’s website (www.cor.net) and at RichardsonToday.com. You can also contact our 24-hour response center at 972-744-4111 with further questions.
