The Richardson Animal Shelter is currently overcapacity and is not accepting surrenders of dogs until further notice. As of Friday, Dec. 9, there were 53 dogs, 42 cats, a bunny, two guinea pigs and a chicken available for adoption.
The Shelter is accepting new volunteers to participate in the Doggy Day Out program and/or fostering animals temporarily in their homes.
