The new Breckinridge Park playground opened this week, in a new location and with brand-new, bright-colored equipment thanks to funds from the 2021 Bond Program. Previously located near Breckinridge Parking Lot C, it is now located near Parking Lot A and the Keffler Ballpark entry, surrounded by a corridor of trees.
The playground renovation is the fifth to be completed from the 2021 Bond Program; see story above for more information. The City renovates playgrounds every 15-20 years as funding becomes available.
