Blue recycling bags are no longer available at City Hall following the Aug. 22 fire. However, residents can still pick up bags at the following seven locations in Richardson.
- Fire Station 3, 2519 Custer Pkwy.
(available 24/7 through automated dispenser) - Fire Station 6, 3591 Park Vista Rd.
(available 24/7 through automated dispenser) - Heights Recreation Center, 711 W. Arapaho Rd.
- Huffhines Recreation Center, 200 N. Plano Rd.
- Ray Noah Municipal Court, 2100 E. Campbell Rd.
(available during normal business hours through automated dispenser) - Senior Center, 820 W. Arapaho Rd.
- Service Center, 1260 Columbia Dr.
(available during normal business hours through automated dispenser)
All locations accept credit cards, including automated dispensers available at select locations. Blue bags are available for $3.50 per roll of 26 bags. Free blue bags are also given out weekly. For information on where to pick up free bags, visit www.cor.net/philup.
Blue bag letters, which are sent to each household in Richardson every spring, as well as vouchers, are redeemable for free bags at Heights Recreation Center, Huffhines Recreation Center and the Senior Center.
