Law Firm Volunteers Clean Up Parks, Set Record

Around 500 volunteers from the Richardson offices of law firm Berry, Appleman & Leiden cleaned up several sections of Spring Creek Nature Area recently as well as the Breckinridge Park playground, in conjunction with the City’s Community & Corporate Environmental Cleanup program (CCECP).

Recycling Blue Bag Giveaways Scheduled

Public Services staff will be at the Richardson Public Library, 900 Civic Center Dr., and Walgreens, 2140 E. Campbell Rd., from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on select dates in July to spread the word about the benefits of recycling.

Virtual Career Fair for Veterans July 13

Veterans, military spouses, and working age military dependents are invited to connect with international, nationwide, statewide, and local employers (including the City of Richardson) at this virtual career fair sponsored by the American Legion, Texas Veterans Commission and the Texas Workforce Commission.

“Richardson’s Family 4th” Lights Up the Sky Monday

Richardson’s Family 4th Celebration is scheduled to take place Monday at Breckinridge Park with the Richardson Community Band Patriotic Salute Concert starting at 8:15 p.m. and fireworks set to begin at 9:30 p.m. The event also includes kids’ activities and concessions.
