RICHARDSON – The Richardson Public Library is honoring service members today and all month long with displays, programs, and activities.
The main lobby display features books focused on social issues, fiction, biographies, and resources for veterans. The third-floor display by the elevators features books written by veterans. RPL also has a war-time movie display and an interactive bulletin board display in the Children’s Department. There’s also a free craft project available for children to pick up and participate in honoring our hometown heroes.
RPL is hosting “WWII Pacific Naval Battles,” a free Lunchtime Lecture on Mon., Nov. 22 for adults and teens in the Basement Program Room from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
