UT Dallas Student Government is again participating in the statewide “A Texas-Sized Christmas” fundraising initiative and is asking for the community’s help in reaching their 2021 goal of $4,000. Spearheaded by “For the Students” at The University of Houston, the campaign’s purpose is to decrease food insecurity during the holidays—funds raised benefit not only college organizations but their surrounding communities as well (the UT Dallas campaign will benefit the UT Dallas Comet Cupboard, Plano-based Minnie’s Food Pantry and the North Texas Food Bank).
