Richardson City Council meetings will take place at the City’s Temporary City Hall, 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd. Suite 525, until further notice beginning Monday, Aug. 21. The 77,000 square-foot building is located at the southwest corner of Plano Road and Greenville Avenue. City staff displaced by the August 2022 City Hall fire are expected to begin moving into the facility this fall, with all City services previously provided at City Hall finding a temporary home there.

The building will also temporarily house the Richardson Public Library, which is slated to undergo a full renovation. The Library is scheduled to close at its existing location Sept. 9 and reopen at its new facility at 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd. in October.

Since the fire, most City Hall services have been provided at the Municipal Court building on Campbell Road; City Council meetings were held at Police Headquarters.
