In preparation for the City Council’s vote on the proposed budget Aug. 24, a tax rate hearing will be held at the Aug. 17 City Council meeting and a budget hearing will be held at the Aug. 24 meeting. Both meetings begin at 6 p.m.
Note that Council meetings return to the Council Chamber Aug. 17, with work sessions continuing to be conducted in the Richardson Room. Both rooms have been modified to provide safety features and separation based on CDC guidelines. Overflow seating with live video will be available in the Parks Rooms.
Individuals wishing to address the Council may submit comments electronically by clicking here or by completing a City Council Public Comment Card in person prior to the meeting.
Citizens are encouraged to watch meetings online or on cable rather than participating in person due to concerns related to the spread of COVID-19.
