Nine employees from State Farm Insurance helped clean up Spring Creak Nature Area last week as well as a portion of Foxboro Park as part of the City’s Community & Corporate Environmental Cleanup Program. The program is open to any group looking for a service activity and provides a great way for groups to contribute to the community by improving the quality of the environment.
The State Farm group collected almost 10 large bags of trash. All supplies, including trash bags, tongs and vinyl gloves, are provided by the City and filled bags may be left at the cleanup site for City pickup. The City also provides direction in choosing an area needing assistance.
