Santa’s Village will officially open Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. at Huffhines Park with the traditional “lighting of the Village” and the arrival of Santa on a firetruck. The free event includes many of Richardson Santa’s Village time-treasured dwellings along with interactive activities in each; free photos with Santa; live entertainment; concessions for sale; and free parking. Come early on opening night for the Parade Awards at 5:30 p.m. and Opening Remarks by Mayor Bob Dubey at 5:50 p.m.
