As part of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Take-Back Initiative, the Richardson Police Department (RPD) will host a drug take-back event Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the RPD Substation parking lot located at 2003 E. Renner Rd.
The community is welcome to bring unwanted, unused or expired pharmaceuticals or over-the-counter medications for safe and easy disposal.
Keeping prescription and nonprescription drugs out of the trash helps maintain the safety of our waterways and removes the opportunity for accidental ingestion by children and pets.
