One of the things that makes the city of Richardson great is the relationships that exist between the City and its institutional partners in the fields of health and education.
Richardson ISD and Plano ISD rank among the top school districts in the state, and last year the City partnered with Richardson ISD for the inaugural Mayor’s Summer Internship Program, designed to give local students on-the-job experience. Methodist Richardson Medical Center continues to support the Health Occupation Students of America program—providing high school students with on-the-job training, while Richland College and UT Dallas partner with summer camps and dual credit programs so local students can earn college credits while still in high school.
These are just a few of the partnerships that exist. For more information, watch the video above and visit www.cor.net/stateofthecity to see the Mayor’s State of the City Address.
