RICHARDSON – Richardson Parks and Recreation Department staff have started to decorate the fountain plaza area outside of City Hall with thousands of lights to prepare for the upcoming holiday season.
The crew is installing the lights over the next few weeks on several of the trees including Richardson’s massive pecan tree.
Each tree will be filled with a mixture of red and white light bulbs.
The crew is using a lift to help get them as far up in the air as they can to make sure every tree is completely decorated.
People will be able to visit the area next month to take family photos or to stroll the area to enjoy the scenery.
