RICHARDSON – The Richardson Public Library (RPL) is returning to its regular hours starting Monday, Sept. 27. The hours are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“With the new budget recently adopted by the City, we’re able to accommodate our patrons and offer 68 hours of services and programs,” said Jennifer Davidson, Director of Library Services.
In addition to the new hours of operation, the library will resume nighttime programs including its book clubs. Community partners will once again be allowed to gather for their meetings and programs. RPL’s popular lunchtime lectures are also returning.
In October, RPL will present a Star Wars Read Day and a Spook-a-Licious Halloween program.
