Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker along with Miss Texas Chandler Foreman & 2019 Miss Richardson Erica Kuntz were filming a short video Wednesday morning to help promote the “IT’S TIME TEXAS Community Challenge,” and to encourage residents to get healthier in 2020 by signing up!
The competition is free to join and there is still plenty of time to sign up! Richardson is one of more than 300 cities and town statewide taking part to see which community can demonstrate the greatest commitment to healthy living.
Residents can register online to support their community and earn points through completing activities such as a group and individual exercise, posting “healthy selfies,” and logging daily water consumption. We’ll share with you the final video this week.
