The Richardson Interfaith Alliance recently gathered at Dialogue Institute Dallas for its annual Thanksgiving Celebration.
This year’s event theme was “Gratitude.” Guests brought their favorite side dishes, dessert and fruit tray to share. Toiletry items were collected for Network of Community Ministries.
“I can say the most common thing we all share is that we are all human beings and we all share the same space. We live in the same country, the same neighborhood and its wonderful to get together and share a meal with nice and friendly conversation,” said Huseyin Peker, director of Dialogue Institute.
The Interfaith Alliance is a community partner with the City of Richardson and strives to increase respect of all faiths through education, increased awareness and coordinating faith-based services for the betterment of the Richardson community.
