The Richardson Police Department’s UNIDOS Program helped several students prepare for summer last week with its Summer Safety Kickoff. The inaugural event was held at Cottonwood Park. Students enjoyed food, free books and games, including playing soccer with some of the department’s School Resource Officers.
UNIDOS is a Hispanic community outreach program designed to provide assistance to Spanish speaking residents in the Richardson area.
