The five CORE District neighborhoods (Chinatown, Downtown, Heights, Interurban and Lockwood) are getting a fresh new look with the addition of metal sign toppers installed recently. Each neighborhood’s toppers, which are added to the top of street signs, feature the name of the neighborhood along with that neighborhood’s unique logo. Colorful light pole banners have also been created for each CORE District neighborhood and are expected to be installed beginning next week.
The logos, sign toppers and banners are part of re-branding efforts for The CORE District approved by the City Council in 2022 that assist with marketing and economic development efforts.
