The City Council passed a resolution Monday that officially sets the date for the May joint election. The Richardson City Council election will be held Saturday, May 1, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Other key dates in the election process recognized in the resolution include:
- Filing deadline for candidate positions: Feb. 12 at 5 p.m.
- Early voting: April 19-27
- Early voting ballot-by-mail deadline: April 20 (by close of business)
