The annual “It’s Time Texas” (ITT) Community Fitness Challenge is in full swing, and individuals and organizations may still sign up for the free, 8-week challenge that takes place through Feb. 28. Earn points and win prizes for completing individual actions such as working out, logging water intake and eating healthy meals, and earn points for your community as well—Richardson is one of more than 550 Texas cities and towns (divided into five size categories) participating.

For the fifth week of the challenge (Feb. 1-7), the Parks and Recreation Department is encouraging Richardson participants to:

  • Complete three workouts during the week
  • Keep tracking water intake

You can track up to two physical activities a day (using the free ITT app) and up to four “healthy activities,” and earn your community up to 600 points a day.
