If you’re a fan of selling or buying through online “resale” platforms (such as Facebook Marketplace and eBay), the Richardson Police Department (RPD) has an outdoor Exchange Zone that can help you feel more comfortable when conducting local transactions.
Established earlier this year, the specially designated area is located at RPD headquarters, 200 N. Greenville Ave., and features 24/7 video surveillance and an adjacent emergency call button. Look for the designated parking with “Exchange Zone” signage on the southeast side of the visitor parking lot.
