For the last several weeks, the Richardson Fire Department has been collecting unwrapped toys and canned/shelf stable food for its annual Toy and Food Drive, benefiting families at the Network of Community Ministries.

Firefighters stopped by the Network for a special delivery. Thanks to the support of the community, they were able to collect 146 lbs. of food and more than 500 toys – from dolls and teddy bears to action figures and bicycles, to help several families have a wonderful Christmas holiday.
