Each year since 1988, National Hispanic Heritage Month has been celebrated Sept. 15-Oct. 15. The following events and services hosted by the City of Richardson are opportunities to take part:
- Library
- Works by Hispanic-American authors, scientists, artists and innovators will be highlighted in a first-floor display case and on Darbey’s StoryWalk® outside of the Library.
- Pronunciator, a digital tool for language learning, and online Learning Express Library classes in English and Spanish, are available for free.
- Books, magazines and audiobooks in Spanish are available in both the adult and youth services sections.
