The City’s annual Family 4th Celebration is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. July 4 at Breckinridge Park. Come join in the fun as we celebrate America’s birthday!
Activities kick off at 6 p.m. with in the children’s area with bounce houses, a climbing wall and other patriotic activities for the kids! The Richardson Community Band takes the stage at 8:15 p.m. for its annual Patriotic Salute Concert, followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
Please note that there are new off-site parking locations this year. With limited parking available at Breckinridge Park, attendees are encouraged to ride the free shuttle, which will begin running at 6 p.m., with the final pre-fireworks shuttle departing the off-site lots at 9 p.m. Off-site parking will be available at Collins Aerospace on Renner Road and Fujitsu on Breckinridge Boulevard (see map).
We encourage you to take a photo of the signage in the lot you park in to ensure that you arrive at the same lot at the conclusion of the event. Due to limited space, please bring only items that you can carry and place on your lap while riding the shuttle. Pets are not allowed on the shuttles, only service dogs.
