Shuttle buses will replace DART trains in downtown Dallas on weekends starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 30, when DART begins replacing rail along the Transitway Mall. The weekend construction will continue into September.
Work will impact all rail lines in downtown: the Red and Blue Lines between the Pearl/Arts District and Union Stations, the Green Line between Deep Ellum and Victory Stations, and the Orange Line between the Deep Ellum, Pearl/Arts District and Victory Stations.
Five separate DART shuttle bus routes (three Express and two Local) will operate during the closures to provide service between the affected downtown stations; an additional Express route will connect the Mockingbird and Bachman Stations. Customers should look for red “Rail Disruption” signs marking the bus stops.
