Starting Friday, July 12, TxDOT will close two direct connect ramps from President George Bush Turnpike to US 75 as part of the interchange improvement project.

The westbound President George Bush Turnpike ramp to northbound US 75 will be closed from Friday July 12 at 8 p.m. to Saturday, July 20 at 5 a.m.  During this closure, westbound President George Bush Turnpike traffic will be forced to exit at K-Ave to the frontage road.  Drivers will access northbound US 75 through a new entrance ramp just south of Plano Parkway.  Temporary signals will be installed at the intersection of the northbound US 75 frontage road and westbound President George Bush Turnpike frontage road in order to assist with traffic flow.

The eastbound President George Bush Turnpike ramp to northbound US 75 will be closed from Friday July 12 at 8 p.m. to Tuesday, July 16 at 5 a.m.  During the closure, eastbound President George Bush Turnpike traffic will be detoured through the frontage road to Campbell Road to access northbound US 75.

Please see the attached detour map.

Portable changeable message boards have been placed in advance to inform the traveling public of the closures.  Drivers should expect delays and plan accordingly.
