RICHARDSON – The company of “Forever,” a new play at the Core Theatre in Richardson is preparing to give the community a different type of theatrical experience amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Its latest production will be streaming live over the internet because only a limited amount of people will be allowed inside the theatre. People who choose to watch the play in person will be encouraged to follow CDC guidelines. The rest of the audience will be watching from home using a link the Core Theatre will be sending an hour prior to every show.

“It’s such a beautiful story and I think at the core, it’s a story about love and how powerful that is and how it can transcend any type of obstacle so, I think that’s always needed, but especially right now,” said actress Samara Gonzalez.

“Forever” is part two of a trilogy set in the middle of World War II and centers around two high school sweethearts who were introduced to the Core Theatre audience last summer.

“Forever” starts Aug. 28 and runs every weekend through Sept. 20. Visit www.thecoretheatre.org for tickets and more information about the production.
