New COVID-19 requirements for Richardson municipal facilities were announced this week at Monday’s City Council work session. The policies are designed to conform to Executive Order No. GA-34 signed by Gov. Greg Abbott relating to the opening of Texas in response to the pandemic. All City personnel will continue to wear masks/facial coverings when interacting with the public and while working in public facilities; patrons at municipal facilities are recommended to wear face coverings over the nose and mouth wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not from the same household.
