When the City’s Brush and Bulky Item Collection (BABIC) service experiences delays, residents now have two ways that they can check on the status of BABIC pickup in their neighborhood:
- Through the Nextdoor app/website, www.nextdoor.com. Register using a Richardson address to be able to view all of the City’s posts. There is no cost to register.
- By visiting a new City webpage, www.cor.net/servicedelay.
Delays can happen due to a variety of reasons, from staffing shortages to an abundance of debris after a storm to seasonal surges in yard cleanup activity.
