Richardson’s longstanding late October festival known as Huffhines Art Trails has been re-branded as Huffhines Harvest Fest this year, taking place Oct. 15-16 at Huffhines Park. The free two-day festival will include all the traditional favorites that visitors have enjoyed for 47 years, including one of the best arts and crafts shows in North Texas, live performances from local talent, fall photo opportunities and concessions.

New to the festival for 2022 is a variety of family activities including a hay maze, lawn games, fall crafts, scarecrow village, and a costume contest, with a chance to win prizes (registration required). In addition, a pumpkin patch will be onsite for purchasing pumpkins and great photo opportunities. Pawtoberfest, added to the festival in 2016, continues this year on Saturday with pet-friendly activities and craft beverages.
