Based on information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the recent Dallas County Public Health Committee decision to lower the county’s COVID-19 risk level to Green (or “new normal”), Richardson City Hall will be reopening fully to pre-pandemic operational levels beginning Monday, May 2. All departments currently operating out of City Hall’s Grand Hall COVID-19 Customer Service Center will return to their respective offices to conduct business.
The only exception to the reopening plan is that the Civic Center will no longer be offering any meeting space for lease to outside customers. These plans are consistent with the direction the City Council provided for Civic Center operations when they approved the renovation of City Hall during the 2021 Bond Program development process.
