City staff updated the City Council Monday on the condition and future needs of park assets and the City’s vast inventory of signs, markings and traffic signals, in preparation for the Council’s upcoming two-day budget workshop, scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday, July 15-16, at City Hall. The workshop is a time for the City Council to provide feedback on funding priorities to the city manager in preparation for the proposed budget that will be presented to Council on Monday, Aug. 12. The workshop will be broadcast live on the City’s CITV station next week Monday and Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m.on the City’s cable TV station (Spectrum channel 16 and AT&T U-Verse channel 99). On-demand video will be available at the City website ( and replay broadcasts on the cable channel will be aired at 6 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 4.
