In order to ensure that all of Richardson’s diverse voices have an opportunity to weigh in on the vision for Richardson’s future, the City is seeking individuals to volunteer as Envision Ambassadors, helping to raise awareness, promote understanding, and gather input for the City’s Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update.
Ambassadors, representing a variety of the interests and backgrounds in the community, will be asked to attend one-hour training meetings in October 2023 and June 2024 and facilitate feedback meetings within their own organizations (and other interested groups, if available), utilizing materials prepared by the Envision Richardson project team. Additionally, Ambassadors will be encouraged to promote the plan to friends, family and colleagues through word of mouth, social media and distributing printed advertisements.
