• Renée Taylor: “My Life on a Diet” Opens Tonight
  7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with 2 p.m. matinees Saturday and Sunday, in the Bank of America Theatre. Tickets are $44-52.
  The Oscar-nominated and Emmy Award-winning writer and actress presents the North Texas premiere of her autobiographical solo show, co-written and originally directed by her late husband, Joseph Bologna. In the show, she looks back on a lifetime of memorable roles in Hollywood and on Broadway, as well as a number of fad diets (including weight loss tips from Joan Crawford, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando and Cary Grant).
• “The Music of ABBA” with the PSO Feb. 15
  8 p.m. in the Hill Performance Hall. Tickets are $38.25-$88.25 and available at www.planosymphony.org.
  World-famous, Sweden-based ABBA tribute group, ARRIVAL, performs with the Plano Symphony Orchestra. ARRIVAL is the only group to have exclusive rights to copy ABBA’s original outfits, so expect a trip down memory lane in both music and costume.
• “Keyboard Conversations^®” Feb. 17
  7:30 p.m. in the Bank of America Theatre. Tickets are $36-$42.
  Concert pianist Jeffrey Siegel’s popular series that mixes educational commentary with piano performance continues with “Mistresses and Masterpieces,” featuring selections by Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Mendelssohn and Bartok that were inspired by “significant others” in the composers’ lives.
