The newly opened Breckinridge Disc Golf Course at Breckinridge Park is holding its first tournament on Jan. 6. The McTako Doubles Tournament is hosted by course designer and professional disc golfer Eric McCabe and Brian Tako Shintaku in conjunction with the City of Richardson Parks and Recreation Department. The tournament will feature two-person teams and consist of two rounds on the 18-hole course. For specifics about the tournament format, click here. The registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 5 at 8 p.m.
Please note that due to the tournament, the Breckinridge C Complex pavilions will not be available for general use and there will be heavy traffic in the park.
