This week, the Arts Incubator of Richardson (AIR) opened its 10th season of AIR Time, the popular movie-paired-with-an-interview series at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema with special guests Keri and Brad Springs, owners of the Six Springs Tavern, who feel strongly about supporting local Texas musicians.
Audio from AIR Time’s interview was recorded and will be produced into a podcast.
The premiere was in partnership with Richardson Reads One Book (RROB), which added another layer of thought and discussion to the 2019 selection, Bluebird, Bluebird by Attica Locke.
“I hope that what people learn from these interviews is that creative really spans a very broad spectrum of all of our lives, often in ways we sometimes don’t think about until you hear someone verbalize it,” said Kitty Goddard, president of Arts Incubator of Richardson.
The next Air Time at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is scheduled for Oct. 8 at 7 p.m.
AIR is funded in part by the City through the Cultural Arts Commission. Visit www.artsinrichardson.com for more information.
